Saturaglass

Saturaglass is the texturing that nobody can programme.

During the satin-finishing process, the formula becomes saturated in an unpredictable manner: the glass ceases to respond uniformly and, on one side, retains a textured, chaotic and deep pattern, whilst the other side remains smooth and glossy, perfectly preserving all the characteristics and properties of the glass. Each sheet is a unique piece, made entirely from glass recovered from the production cycle, diverted from external recycling and reintroduced into a virtuous internal cycle.

Applications

Saturaglass is ideal for horizontal surfaces such as tables, worktops and console tables: its glossy, perfectly uniform surface withstands daily use whilst allowing the chaotic material beneath to show through;.

When used vertically, it is suitable for panels, partitions and doors.

It lends itself to one-off pieces and bespoke furniture where uniqueness is an integral part of the design.

Technical specifications

Saturaglass is a double-sided toughened glass: the exposed side is smooth and polished, whilst the textured side has a distinctive, uneven finish that is visible through the glass. The design cannot be replicated, so each sheet is unique and production runs are limited. The surface retains all the characteristics of glass and is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
